Glad I ran across your website. Great job you are doing. I started collecting South Bend and Heddon lures about 15 months ago, and just recentely have gotten interested in the Helin lures. I now have 15 Helin lures, all are MIB or NIB. The oldest is from 1944 and 1948, the rest are from the 1950’s to the early 1970’s. As you can tell I am a novice and very new to the Helin lures.
I have located a copy of Jack Turner’s book on the Charles Helin lures, and have it being shipped to my local library. I got it on the open library loan program as the book is out of print and I cannot find anyone that has one for sale. Probably coultn’t afford it if I did.
I want to keep intouch with your updates, and if I come up with anything that might help you, I will be glad to share it with you.
Would appreciate hearing from you when you have a little time.
Thanks, again for the website and the work you have done. Sincerely, William D. (Dub) Whiteis
